Erased

“Erased” is a conceptual fashion project exploring silence, control, and the psychological cost of invisibility. Created for SCAD’s White Project using only white materials, it draws inspiration from white room torture, where sensory deprivation is used to erode identity. Through restraint elements, repetition, and a constrained form, the piece reflects the quiet unraveling of self when stripped of feedback or connection, transforming white from a symbol of purity into one of isolation and suppression. Ultimately, “Erased” examines what remains when identity is slowly taken away, using fashion as a medium to express what cannot be said aloud.
